Introduction
Gia is your AI assistant inside GydeOS that helps you get fast answers to client, carrier, and benefits questions without leaving the platform. You can ask general questions or tie them to a specific client to get tailored responses.
This guide explains where to find Ask Gia, how to ask questions, and how to use the key navigation features and response tools within the Ask Gia workspace.
How to Open Ask Gia:
Step 1: Log in to GydeOS
Enter your log-in credentials to access your account and open the GydeOS platform.
Step 2: Navigate to the Ask Gia page
From the left-hand side navigations panel, select the Ask Gia tab.
Step 3: Choose a client (optional)
If you want answers tied to a specific client, select a client from the Client dropdown. If you want to ask a general question, you can proceed without selecting a client.
Step 4: Ask Gia your question
Once your chat begins, you can ask questions such as:
Plan benefits or coverage details
Policy and enrollment information
Client-specific questions (when a client is selected)
General insurance terminology, rules, or regulation changes.
Gia uses the client and plan information in GydeOS to generate responses, and may reference plan documents like Statements of Benefits (SOBs) and Evidence of Coverage (EOCs).

Navigating the Tools
In addition to asking questions, Ask Gia includes several tools that help you manage conversations and responses.
Viewing Past Conversations
To see previous chats:
This allows you to reference earlier questions and answers without starting over.
Starting a New Chat
To begin a fresh conversation with Gia, click the New Chat icon in the upper right corner.
This clears the current thread and starts a new one.
Viewing Citations
Gia's responses may include citations. To view sources, click the Book icon located at the bottom of a response.
Clicking this Citations icon opens up a pane on the right hand side of the screen
This shows the reference materials used by Gia to generate the answer. It allows you to view sources used per question asked in your conversation.
Response Actions
Each Gia response includes several action buttons:
Copy: Copies the full response text so you can paste it into emails or notes
Try Again: Regenerates the response if you want a different version or more detail
Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down: Provide feedback on whether the response was helpful
Providing feedback helps improve the system over time.
Best Practices for Getting the Most Helpful Answers
To improve response quality:
Select a client when asking about specific coverage
Be clear and specific in your question
Use follow up questions to clarify or narrow results
Ask Gia is designed to support your workflow, but brokers should always verify important details before making client recommendations.
