Configuring Your Meeting Settings

Customize your client meeting scheduling.

Updated over 2 months ago

Now that your calendar is connected to Gyde, it’s time to set your meeting preferences. You decide how long meetings last, how frequently time slots appear, and any downtime before or after each meeting.

Step 1: Configure Your Meeting Preferences

Set your meeting schedule. Choose the duration of each meeting, intervals between meetings, and buffers.

  • Duration: Set how long each meeting lasts (e.g., 30 minutes).

  • Interval: Decide how often new timeslots appear on your calendar (e.g., every 30 minutes).

  • Round to: Adjust meeting start times to the nearest increment you choose (e.g., 15 minutes).

  • Buffer before: Block time before each meeting for preparation.

  • Buffer after: Block time after each meeting for follow-up or notes.

Click Next to continue. You can always update these preferences later under Meetings > My Settings.

Step 2: Set LOB Time Blocks

Determine LOB (Line of Business) time blocks. This establishes the window of time clients can book plan reviews based on campaign dates.

Each LOB campaign can have its own date range, so you can tailor your availability based on the business you’re handling. If you need to adjust any of these ranges, click Edit time blocks to make changes.

Once you’ve finalized your LOB time blocks, click Next to continue. You can update these settings anytime under Meetings > My Settings.

Step 3: Set Your Open Hours

Define your open hours. Your open hours are the specific days and times when clients can book appointments with you.

For example:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Saturday to Sunday: Unavailable

These hours work together with your LOB time blocks and meeting preferences to determine when meetings can be scheduled on your calendar.

If you need to make changes, click Edit open hours. When you’re finished, click Finish. You can update your open hours anytime under Meetings > My Settings.

You’re all set!

Once you’ve finished configuring your meeting preferences, LOB time blocks, and open hours, your calendar is fully set up and ready to handle client bookings. Your account setup process is now complete!

Remember, you can revisit and adjust any of these settings at any time under Meetings > My Settings, so your calendar can always reflect your availability and scheduling preferences.
