It's time to set your meeting preferences. First, let's check that your calendar is connected. Then, decide how long meetings last, how frequently time slots appear, and any downtime before or after each meeting.
Step 1: Navigate to the 'Meetings' tab in GydeOS
Now that you've logged into GydeOS, find the 'Meetings' tab in the left-hand column.
Step 2: Click on 'My Settings'
Find the 'My Settings' tab in the upper right corner, under Meetings.
Step 3: Click on 'Connect'
Under 'Connect calendar', click "Connect" or "Reconnect" to sync your calendar.
Step 4: Finish connecting your calendar
Follow the prompts on screen to connect your calendar. Detailed instructions continued here.
Step 5: Configure your meeting settings
With your calendar connected, go to Meetings and select My Settings tab. To adjust your preferences, click Edit in the section header.
These settings are set per type of meeting, so a renewal appointment and a quick service call don't have to be the same length. Five meeting types run down the side of the table (Renewal, AEP enrollment, IEP enrollment, Cross-sell and Service) and four settings run across the top:
Duration: how long the meeting lasts (for example, 30 minutes)
Buffer Before: blocks time before each meeting for preparation.
Buffer After: blocks time after each meeting for follow-up or notes.
Minimum notice: the least notice a client can book with in hours.
Need a reminder while you edit? Hover over the ⓘ icon next to any column, or open What each setting does below the table.
To make a change, click a cell and pick a new value. When you're done, click Save Changes. You can always come back and update them later.
Step 6: Set open hours
Your open hours are the days and times when clients can book appointments on your calendar. Scroll down to Open hours and click Edit.
Check the box next to each day you're available, and uncheck any day you're not.
Set a start and end time for each day you're available.
Click + Add under a day to create another block of available time on that day.
Want to start over? Click Reset to default settings.
For example:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM; then click + Add to add a second window from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. That way, you save an hour for lunch!
Saturday to Sunday: unchecked (unavailable)
Once you're happy with your schedule, click Save Changes at the bottom of the section. You can update your open hours anytime under Meetings > My Settings.

You're all set!
Once you've finished configuring your meeting preferences and open hours, your calendar is fully set up and Gia is ready to schedule meetings directly on your calendar. Your account setup process is now complete!
Remember, you can revisit and adjust any of these settings at any time under Meetings > My Settings, so your calendar can always reflect your availability and scheduling preferences.
