How to Edit My Broker Information

Update your broker profile details directly in GydeOS.

Introduction

The Brokers page in GydeOS shows your own broker profile. You can edit your name and contact details yourself. A few fields come from licensing and registration records and stay read-only.

Which broker fields you can edit

General Fields

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Nickname

  • Date of birth

  • The FFM Certified checkbox.

Contact Fields

  • Primary and secondary phone type and number

  • Which of your numbers is used as your MFA/Notification Phone and Client-Facing Phone

  • Your mailing address (address lines, city, state, ZIP, county).

Your Client-Facing Phone is worth keeping current: it's the number Gia reads out to a client who asks how to reach you directly.

Editing a section

Step 1: Open your broker profile

From the left navigation, select Brokers. Your own profile opens directly, so there is no list to choose from.

Step 2: Select Edit

Select Edit on either General or Contact.

Step 3: Save your changes

Save changes stays greyed out until you change something. Select it to apply your update, or select Cancel to discard the edit.

Fields you cannot edit

These stay read-only even in edit mode:

  • NPN, State license, and Supporting broker — these come from your licensing and hierarchy records

  • Email — your email address is tied to your GydeOS login

Opted in to communications is changed by request:

  • Select Request a change underneath the checkbox

  • Enter the value you want, and add a note if it helps

  • GydeOS opens a support request for you, and nothing changes until the Gyde team reviews it. It is the only field on this page with a change request option.

Good to know

  • You can only edit one section at a time. While one section is open, the other Edit button is disabled and shows "Save your changes first before continuing."

  • The page header shows when your profile was last updated and what changed it.

  • To edit a client's details, see How to Edit My Client Information.
