How to View Cross-Sell Opportunities in GydeOS

Introduction

Cross-sell opportunities are surfaced directly in GydeOS and are designed to help you quickly spot clients who may benefit from additional coverage. Follow the steps below to view these opportunities and report any plan detail that looks incorrect.

How to View Cross-Sell Opportunities

Step 1: Log in to GydeOS

Enter your log-in credentials to access your account and open the GydeOS platform.

Step 2: Navigate to the Clients page

From the left-hand side navigation panel, select the Clients tab.

Step 3: Use the Cross-sell column to spot opportunities

The Cross-sell column on the right shows how many opportunities each client has, or "No opportunities." Use the Cross-sell filter (All / Has opportunities / None) to focus your list, and sort by the column to bring the highest-opportunity clients to the top. You can also filter by Campaign status. The column shows the opportunity count along with product labels, so you can quickly see which products are most relevant to each client.

Step 4: Click a client’s name to open their Client Contact page

You’ll see three tabs: Client Details, Plans, and Campaigns.

When a client has opportunities, a banner appears at the top of their profile, above the tabs: "N cross-sell opportunities for [client name]" with a View in Plans link to jump straight to the details.

Step 5: Open the Plans tab to see the details

Each opportunity appears as a card with an Opportunity tag and a "Why we’re recommending this" list that cites the client’s plan documents (SOB/EOC).

Products with no gap are grouped under Already well covered.

Cross-sell opportunities cover six ancillary products: Cancer, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, Dental, Vision, and Hearing.

Using Cross-Sell Opportunities

Cross-sell opportunities are designed to support your decision-making, not replace it. An Opportunity is a prompt to review — a signal worth a conversation, not a statement that the client needs the product. You decide what’s right for each client.

Reporting an Incorrect Detail

If a plan detail behind an opportunity looks wrong, you can flag it.

  1. Select Report next to the detail in question on any recommendation in the Plans tab.

  2. Add an optional comment describing what’s off.

  3. Choose Submit report. The detail will then show as Reported.

How Your Reports Help

The Gyde team uses these reports to improve the accuracy of the information we extract from plan documents. Your reports help us improve extraction accuracy, strengthen the opportunities you and your clients rely on, and capture exactly what’s off and why.
